Breast cancer is one of the top three cancers afflicting women all over the world today. Worldwide, the month of October is recognized as ‘Breast Cancer Awareness Month’. During this period, health promotion campaigns and programmes are held to create awareness of the disease by providing accurate information and educating the general public.
